Botswana Agate Gemstone 925 Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace

A gorgeous Botswana agate gemstone and sterling silver pendant. The stone is set in a scalloped fine silver bezel and mounted on a sterling silver textured base. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver bail and an 18'' / 45 cm sterling silver chain (other lengths available - please see below). The necklace has been highly polished to catch the light.

This beautiful handcrafted gemstone pendant with its stunning natural markings would make a lovely addition to your wardrobe and with its pretty design it is suitable for any occasion. It would also make a great birthday or wedding anniversary gift for someone who loves handmade jewellery.

I created the silver and gemstone pendant from sterling silver sheet and fine silver wire  entirely by hand using traditional silversmithing techniques. There is only one of these pendants available so this is the one you will receive.

A little bit of info about Botswana agate:

Botswana agate is known for its lovely patterns and varied warm colors - pink, brown, grey, blue or purple swirling around. It's believed to have healing properties to help with stress and decision making. It’s sometimes called the “Sunset Stone” because its colors can look like the sky at sunset.

Length: 3.5 cm and width: 2.3 cm. The gemstone is 2.2 by 1.5 cm approx.

The necklace comes with an 18'' / 45 cm sterling silver chain. If you prefer a different length chain please let me know when ordering by adding a note to the order notes box.

Follow these tips to care for your new jewellery:

- try to keep jewellery from having contact with items such as perfumes (add perfume before adding jewellery), hairsprays, cream, cleaning fluids and soap as these may tarnish the metal.

- to help reduce tarnish please gently wipe jewellery with a soft cloth before putting away and store in a re-sealable plastic bag when not wearing.
