Handmade 925 Sterling Silver Teardrop Necklace Pendant

A very pretty handcrafted 925 sterling silver teardrop pendant with a lovely rippled texture. The teardrop hangs from a sterling silver bail and an 18'' / 45 cm) sterling silver chain (other lengths available - please see below). The necklace has been highly polished to catch the light.

This silver teardrop necklace would make a lovely addition to your wardrobe and with its simple minimalist design it is suitable for any occasion. It would also make a great birthday or wedding anniversary gift for someone who loves handcrafted jewellery.

I created the silver necklace from sterling silver sheet and added the texture by heating the silver until the surface starts to melt...as the silver melts a gorgeous rippled effect appears. The pendant was made entirely by me using traditional silversmithing techniques.

Length: 2.6 cm and width: 2.2 cm approx.

The necklace comes with an 18'' / 45 cm sterling silver chain. If you prefer a different length chain please let me know when ordering by adding a note to the order notes box.

Follow these tips to care for your new jewellery:

- try to keep jewellery from having contact with items such as perfumes (add perfume before adding jewellery), hairsprays, cream, cleaning fluids and soap as these may tarnish the metal.

- to help reduce tarnish please gently wipe jewellery with a soft cloth before putting away and store in a re-sealable plastic bag when not wearing.
