I created the copper star from copper sheet and gave it a hammered texture then added the silver for detail. To add the silver I had to heat it to fuse to the copper. As the silver is heated it starts to melt and flow across the copper therefore each star will be totally unique and one of a kind as it is hard to control where the silver goes! The stars are made entirely by me using traditional silversmithing techniques.
