Rainbow Fluorite Natural Gemstone 925 Sterling Silver Ring

A gorgeous purple natural fluorite gemstone ring with a wide sterling silver band. The band has been gently line hammered to give a bark like effect. The fluorite stone has beautiful subtle stripes and contrasts so well with the silver band. The ring is a UK size Q, the gemstone is 10 mm and the band is 10 mm wide.

This 'one of a kind' ring is a unique statement piece and perfect for any occasion. An ideal birthday or wedding anniversary gift or a great gift for anytime of the year!

I created the ring entirely by hand from sterling silver sheet, using traditional silversmithing techniques. I added the bark like texture around the band with a jeweller's hammer. I soldered the bezel to the ring band and then polished the whole piece before setting the stone. There is only one of these rings available so this is the ring you will receive.

The name fluorite originates from the Latin word 'fluere' meaning to 'flow' which describes the flows of the hint of stripes in the stone very well. Fluorite is a stone known for clarity and mental enhancement and is believed to absorb and neutralise negative energy and stress.
